The following is a list of the call transfer permissions. These permission specify which areas users can transfer calls from, along with what destinations they can transfer calls to. 

iSymphony cannot control transfers made through the phone itself.

When transferring calls to or from users in the Users Widget, the Extension that will be checked for permission depends on the currently selected extension account in the User Box. If the selection is set to the user account, the user's chosen default extension will be checked. This includes transfers made directly to a user's voicemail box. See Users Widget for more information on account selection management.

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call to another extension through the interface.

Affects

  • The visibility of the Transfer action button. If The user does not have permission to transfer to any destination, the Transfer action button will be hidden.
  • The visibility of the extension, in the Destination list of the Transfer action dialog. 
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to a user in the Users Widget.
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to an extension in the My Stream Widget.
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to an agent extension in the Queue Widget.
Transfer from an ExtensionExtensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call away (steal) from an extension.

Affects

  • The visibility of the Transfer action button. If the user does not have permission to transfer from any of their extensions, or external numbers, the Transfer action button will be hidden.
  • The visibility of the extension's calls, in the Call list of the Transfer action dialog.
  • The visibility of the Park action button. If the user does not have permission to transfer from any of their extensions, or external numbers, the Park action button will be hidden.

  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, from a user in the Users Widget.
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, from an extension in the My Stream Widget.

Transfer to a Cell PhoneUsers, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call to a pre-defined external number (cell phone).

Affects

  • The visibility of the Transfer action button. If The user does not have permission to transfer to any destination, the Transfer action button will be hidden.
  • The visibility of the user's external numbers, in the Destination list of the Transfer action dialog. 
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to a user's external number in the Users Widget.
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to an external number in the My Stream Widget.
Transfer from a Cell PhoneUsers, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call away (steal) from an external number (cell phone).

Affects

  • The visibility of the Transfer action button. If the user does not have permission to transfer from any of their extensions, or external numbers, the Transfer action button will be hidden.

Transfer to a Parking LotParking Lots

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call to a parking lot (park a call).

Affects

  • The visibility of the Park action button. If The user does not have permission to transfer to any parking lot, the Park action button will be hidden.
  • The visibility of the parking lot, in the Parking Lot list of the Park action dialog. 
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to a Parking Lot Widget.

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call away from a parking lot (unpark a call).

  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, from a Parking Lot Widget.
Transfer to a Conference RoomConference Rooms

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call to a conference room.

Affects

  • The visibility of the Transfer action button. If The user does not have permission to transfer to any destination, the Transfer action button will be hidden.
  • The visibility of the conference room, in the Destination list of the Transfer action dialog. 
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to a Conference Room Widget.
Transfer from a Conference RoomConference Rooms

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call out of a conference room.

Affects

  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, from a Conference Room Widget.
Transfer to a QueueQueues

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call into a queue.

Affects

  • The visibility of the Transfer action button. If The user does not have permission to transfer to any destination, the Transfer action button will be hidden.
  • The visibility of the conference room, in the Destination list of the Transfer action dialog. 
  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, to the call section of a Queue Widget.
Transfer from a QueueQueues

Controls whether a user is allowed to transfer a call directly from a queue. Note that doing so may cause inconsistent statistics reporting.

  • The ability to perform a drag and drop call transfer, from the call section of a Queue Widget.
Transfer to a Voicemail BoxExtensions, Users, User Groups

Controls weather a user is allowed to transfer a call to an extension's voicemail box.

Affects

  • The visibility of the voicemail button in the Users Widget. The voicemail button will be hidden if both the Call an Extensions's Vociemail Box and Transfer To an Extension's Voicemail Box permissions are denied on the extension.
