Uninstallation

The uninstall procedure will differ depending on the type of installation you have.

RPM

Run the following commands to stop and uninstall the iSymphony Server:

On this page:

  1. Determine the RPM installation ID:

    rpm -qa | grep iSymphonyServerV3
  2. Use the RPM installation ID found in step 1 with the following command to uninstall the server:

    rpm -e <RPM installation ID>

Tarball

Run the following commands to stop and uninstall the iSymphony Server:

/opt/isymphony3/server/shutdown.sh
rm -rf /opt/isymphony3/

Be very careful with the rm -rf command. If the path is not specified correctly you can permanently delete files from your system that you did not intend to remove, which can cause irreversible damage to your system.
