1 The iSymphony Administration section is a portion of the client that allows the Administrator to modify the configuration of iSymphony.

4 If using the FreePBX module some changes in the Administrator will be overwritten by the module. If one of these overwritten options needs to be changed do so from within FreePBX (See the [[doc:ISYMDOCS.FreePBX Module Administration]] section) .

7 1. Install the iSymphony client. Refer to the [[doc:ISYMDOCS.Client Installation and Uninstallation]] section.
8 1. If the client prompts you for profile credentials simply hit cancel or close out the wizard.
9 1. Go to **Tools->Preferences->Administration Login**
10 1. Specify the host or IP on which your iSymphony server is installed.
11 1. Set the **Type** to **System**
12 1. Modify your username to "admin" which is the default administration username.
13 1. Modify your password to "secret" which is the default administration password.
14 1. Select OK
15 1. Select **View->Administrator **
