Profile Configuration

Profiles are used by iSymphony to allow users to login and manage extensions. Each profile has it's own set of permissions and configuration options. Once setup users can configure their client to access their profile and begin using iSymphony.

Information

The extension list in the profile configuration page specifies which extensions belong to the user, i.e. which extension the user makes and receives calls from. This determines which extensions will show up in the users My Extension window.

Adding Profile

To add a profile right click on the "Profiles" item in the configuration tree and select "New".

Removing Profile

To remove a profile right click on the profile item that you wish to remove and select "Remove".

Renaming Profile

To rename a profile right click on the profile item that you wish to rename and select "Rename".

Profile Properties

Login

 

User Name:

The user name for the profile

Password:

The password for the profile.

Jabber

 

Host:

Override for location Jabber host.

Domain:

Override for location Jabber domain.

Resource:

Override for location Jabber resource.

Port:

Override for location Jabber port.

User Name:

The user name used for logging into the Jabber server.

Password:

The password used for logging into the Jabber server.

Extensions

 

Extension List:

Specifies which extension belong to this profile(Which extension will show up in the My Extensions area).

Can View Everyone Directory:

If selected this user will be able to see the Everyone Extension Directory.

Extension State Colors

 

Unregistered:

Sets the extension unregistered status color. (Default: Grey)

Registered:

Sets the extension registered status color. (Default: Light Blue)

Ringing:

Sets the extension ringing status color. (Default: Yellow)

Pending:

Sets the extension pending status color. (Default: Pink/Red)

Local Linked:

Sets the extension local linked status color. (Default: Dark Blue)

Outside Linked:

Sets the extension outside linked status color. (Default: Green)

Queue Linked:

Sets the extension queue linked status color. (Default: Orange)

Apply Colors To All Profiles on Save:

Applies the current profile's status color scheme to all profiles.

Restore Defaults:

Restores the profile's status colors to the default values.

Permission Overrides

 

My Extension:

Set permission overrides on this profile for the profile's extensions (See the Permissions section).

Extension:

Set permission overrides on this profile for other extensions (See the Permissions section).

Parking Lot:

Set permission overrides on this profile for the parking lot (See the Permissions section).

Queue:

Set permission overrides on this profile for the queues (See the Permissions section).

Conference Room:

Set permission overrides on this profile for the (See the Permissions section).
