Symptoms
You get the following error message when attempting to activate a license in FreePBX
Error: Could not read from socket. Resource temporarily unavailable
Cause
This is usually caused by a firewall on the server that is blocking iSymphony from connecting to the license server.
Resolution
Make sure that your firewall allows outbound TCP connections to port 49997 at host is-license.i9technologies.com
