Permissions

Permissions allow Administrators to restrict functionality or actions that Users or User Groups have access to on certain objects in the system.
Managing Permissions
Any object that is permissible will have a Permissions section at the bottom of the object's configuration properties page in the Administration Interface.
Restricting
If Restricted is uncheked all users will have full access to all actions and functionality of the object. When Restricted is checked only the Users and User Groups that are added to the Users and Groups section in the configuration will be allowed to perform actions on the object. Only those Permissions that are checked in the Permission section will be allowed for the added Users and User Groups.
Users and Groups
You can use the search field to find Users and User Groups to add to the permission set of the object. You can remove them by selecting the ones you wish to remove and hitting the Delete key.
Permissions
The permission settings for the selected Users and User Groups will be shown in the Permissions section. You can check off the permission you want to allow in the Permissions list. You can set permissions on multiple Users and User Groups at the same time by selecting multiple items in the Users and Groups section using Ctrl-Click or Shift-Click.
