Call State Permissions

The following is a list of the display permissions. These permission specify what information the user is allowed to see, in specific areas of the panel.

If you are trying to restrict which users/extensions a user is allowed to see, use Extension Groups.

When looking at extensions in the Users Widget, the Extension that will be checked for permission depends on the currently selected extension account in the User Box. If the selection is set to the user account, the user's chosen default extension will be checked. See Users Widget for more information on account selection management.

View Calls on an Extension

Extensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to view calls on another extension.

Affects

  • Visibility of call status in the Users Widget.
  • Visibility of call status on agent extensions, in the Queue Widget.
  • Visibility of caller ID of calls in the Users Widget.
  • Visibility of caller ID on agent extensions, in the Queue Widget.
  • Access to any call related action buttons in the Users Widget.
  • Access to any call related action buttons in the Queue Widget.

View Caller ID for Calls on an Extension

Extensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to view caller id information for calls on another extension.

Requires the View Calls on an Extension Permission.

Affects

  • Visibility of caller ID in the Users Widget. If not allowed the user will see the caller ID masked with "x"s.
  • Visibility of caller ID on agent extensions, in the Queue Widget. If not allowed the user will see the caller ID masked with "x"s.

View Calls in a Parking Lot

Parking Lots

Controls whether a user is allowed to view calls in a parking lot.

Affects

  • Visibility of calls in the Parking Lot Widget.

Conference Rooms

Controls whether a user is allowed to view calls in a conference room.

Affects

  • Visibility of calls in the Conference Room Widget.

View Calls and Agents in a Queue

Queues

Controls whether a user is allowed to view calls, agents, and statistics for a queue.

Affects

  • Visibility of the queue, in the queue list of the Queue Widget.
