Extension Operation Permissions

The following is a list of the extension operation permissions. These permission specify what actions a user can perform on extensions.

iSymphony cannot control setting of DND state, when performed via the phone itself.

When performing actions on extensions, in the Users Widget, the Extension that will be checked for permission depends on the currently selected extension account in the User Box. If the selection is set to the user account, the user's chosen default extension will be checked. See Users Widget for more information on account selection management.

Set their Default Extension

Self

Controls whether a user is allowed to set their own default extension.

Affects

  • The user's ability to change their default extension, from the My Stream Widget.

Toggle DND on an Extension 

Extensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to toggle Do-Not-Disturb (DND) on an extension through the interface. Note that iSymphony cannot control DND status set through the phone itself.

Affects

  • The visibility of the DND button, in the DND Settings option, in the users menu.
  • The visibility of the DND button, in the Users Widget.
