Recording Operation Permissions

The following is a list of the recording operation permissions. These permission specify what actions a user can perform from the Recordings Widget, on recordings an extension was involved in.

Currently iSymphony does not provide the ability to manage recordings for extensions not assigned to the user, so these permission will only have an effect for owned extensions.

View Recordings

Controls whether a user is allowed to view recording metadata for an extension.

Affects

  • The visibility of recordings, the extension was involved in, in the Recordings Widget.

Listen to Recordings

Extensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to listen to recordings for an extension.

Affects

  • The visibility of the over the phone playback button, in the Recordings Widget.
  • The visibility of the in browser playback control area, in the Recordings Widget.
  • The ability to double click a recording, for over the phone playback.

Download Recordings

Extensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to download recordings.

Affects

  • The visibility of the download recording button.

Delete Recordings

Extensions, Users, User Groups

Controls whether a user is allowed to delete recordings for an extension.

Affects

  • The visibility of the recording delete icon, in the Recordings Widget.
  • The ability to delete selected recordings with the Delete key on the keyboard.
