Overview

iSymphony 3.0.0 Beta 2 has introduced several new features, bug fixes and efficiency improvements.

Voicemail notification popups will now timeout after 5 seconds.
Call history is now manage internally instead of utilizing CDRs in order to get more accurate call history information.
Call history is now loaded on demand in order to increase overall system efficacy as well as reduce memory and CPU usage.
Improvements have been made to the communication system in order to increase overall system efficacy as well as reduce memory and CPU usage.
Added favicon to the Client Interface.

An issue where voicemails and recordings could not be played back in browser when using FireFox or Safari has been fixed.
An issue where the panel would throw a error, and prevent login, when an existing Widget was open for an object (queue, parking lot, conference room) that no longer exists has been fixed.
An issue where the User Box in the Users Widget would show "0." or "1." and no down or up arrows to switch the active call has been fixed.
An issue where some password hashes would not verify properly on login attempts has been fixed.
An issue where calls to extensions with FMFM setup would not show the originator dialing has been fixed.
An issue where the Account List on the User Box would automatically hide when call state changed has been fixed.
An issue where the Communication Error Dialog would not open when the client lost connection with the server has been fixed.
An issue where the device registration status would not report properly in the panel has been fixed.
Custom dialplan context names used in 3.0.0 have changed in order to prevent conflicts with 2.x.x custom dialplan context names.

Modifications have been made so that the 3.x.x FreePBX module will not conflict with the 2.x.x FreePBX module.
An issue where the module would fail to install due to a varchar unique id limit has been fixed.
An issue where the FreePBX module fails to add the parking lot to the server configuration when using FreePBX 2.11 has been fixed.
An issue where the password emails would not replace the %%clientURL%% variable has been fixed.
An issue where the cxpanel_phone_number table would not be removed during unistallation of the FreePBX module has been fixed.

In some cases blank caller ID will show up in the User Box in the Users Widget.
In some cases an extension to extension call will not show the originator linked.
IE cannot play back voicemail or recordings in browser.
Some client settings (table, filter, sort) are not saved across sessions.
Hold state not represented correctly when a queue call is transferred.
