Overview
iSymphony 3.0.0 Beta 4 has introduced several new improvements, features, and bug fixes.
Features
- Added browser tray notification popups for incoming calls and voicemail. (Works in Chrome only)
Improvements
- If a required configuration file does not exist in the conf directory the system will now create a default version of that file.
- If no voicemail or recordings are available a message is displayed in the widget.
- If no notifications are available a message is displayed in the notification list.
- A set of default user statuses are now included during initial installation.
- The action destination selection panel now contains alternative phone numbers as a destination.
- Modified communication system in order to provide better efficiency in transmission.
- Server no longer creates a default SSL keystore. Users must now provide their own.
- Modified CDR database queries for recordings to utilize the same number of pooled database connections as loading threads in order to prevent wait times on pooled connections.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where a deadlock would occur in the system when using a single local server installation.
- Fixed issue where table settings in the voicemail and recordings widgets would not save.
- Fixed issue where the remember me login option would not work properly.
- Fixed issues where call status would not update properly when FMFM is used.
- Fixed issue where new voicemail notifications would be created for old voicemails.
- Fixed issue where administrators could not select the restricted checkbox for self permissions in some situations.
- Fixed issue where DND status would not be read properly on startup.
- Fixed issue where KahaDB logs would not clean up properly.
- Fixed issue where conversation action buttons would not be removed from the user box in some situations when a call ended.
- Fixed issue where the scroll bar in the notification window would overlap the contents of the window.
- Fixed issue where errors would be thrown when the Asterisk system was setting a global dialplan variable.
- Fixed issue where the selected user status in the User Menu would not update if the status was changed by an Administrator.
- Fixed issue where objects would start to drag on right clicks.
- Fixed issue where CPU would spike on SSL REST requests.
FreePBX Module
- An issue where the FreePBX module could not connect to a plain (non SSL) connection has been fixed.
- Added a new option called "Use SSL" to the FreePBX module API configuration that tells the module to use http or https to connect to the REST service.
- Reorganized settings on the main module page.
Known Issues
- When using a remote voicemail or recording agent the system will deadlock and crash.
- In some situations starting a chat session will result in a timeout error being thrown.
