19 Older versions of Asterisk 1.4 have a bug which causes the Asterisk server to fail to send a response to an iSymphony request for the current state of the phone system when first connecting. This prevents iSymphony from continuing to connect to the Asterisk server.

23 Restarting the Asterisk server process generally clears the issue within Asterisk, allowing iSymphony to continue operation.

27 This issue does not occur in Asterisk systems running versions 1.6 and higher. Upgrade Asterisk to one of these versions if possible to completely resolve the problem.
