1 | 1. Once the client is installed (see the [[doc:ISYMDOCS.Client Installation and Uninstallation]] section) the first run of the application will present you with a connection wizard. When asked what kind of connection you would like to make select Profile. If you do not see the wizard click on **File->New Profile**. | ||
2 | 1. Enter the name you wish to give your profile in the **Name** feild. This name can be anything you want and simply acts as the identifier of the profile in the client. | ||
3 | 1. Enter the IP address or hostname of the iSymphony server in the **Host** field and the port of the iSymphony server in the **Port** field. The port usually remains as default unless otherwise specified by your Administrator. | ||
4 | 1. Enter the location, tenant, username and password for the user you wish to log in as in the **Location**, **Tenant**, **Username** and **Password** fields respectively. Normaly the **Location** and *Tenant *fields should remain set to default unless otherwise specified by your Administrator. | ||
