Problem

The second line of text in the detailed error message of an iSymphony error dialog is similar to the following:

There is no valid license for Pro Macros. Please visit the Licenses section.

This error will occur when logging in, and will usually spawn a large number of very similar errors (the only difference will be the numbers). When closing a dialog, it may appear that the dialog is not closing; this is because underneath the dialog you closed are a large number of additional error dialogs. Continue closing the dialogs, and eventually they will all go away.

Solution

This bug was introduced in iSymphony version 3.0.3, build 1557. We quickly resolved it and re-released iSymphony version 3.0.3, as build 1564. If you updated iSymphony in the short period during which build 1557 was available and are running in to this issue, simply upgrade again to version 3.0.3 build 1564. See the Updating iSymphony page for more information on the updating process.

Workaround

If upgrading is not an immediate option, you can prevent the issue from occurring by ensuring that the 'All Accounts' account is active in the My Stream widget when exiting or logging out of iSymphony. If any other account is active (for example, your extension), then the next time you log into iSymphony this error will appear.
