Symptoms
When installing the iSymphony client on Mac OSX you get the following error:
Unable to create iSymphony shortcut
Cause
There is a known bug in Java 7 update 9 that prevents the installation of the shortcut on Mac OSX.

Resolution
You must upgrade to Java 7 update 10 which contains a fix for the issue.
